CoELIB’s Leadership and Life Skills Program is designed to equip youth and business leaders with the necessary skills to succeed in today’s competitive world. The program aims to increase the economic prospects of youth by connecting them to skill training and providing them with the essential life and entrepreneurial skills necessary for transition into the workplace, whether as wage- or self-employed individuals.
The program is offered through physical training sessions, mentorship, internships, and apprenticeships.
Modules Offered Include:
Module One: Introduction to Life Skills - This module introduces the participants to life skills and why they are essential. The participants learn about life skills necessary for personal and professional development.
Module Two: Life Skills, Getting Started - Participants develop the skills to set goals, prioritize their time, and manage their resources effectively.
Module Three: Self-Awareness - Participants learn to develop self-awareness by identifying their strengths and weaknesses and creating a personal development plan.
Module Four: Communication Skills - This module focuses on developing effective communication.
Module Five: Decision-making – It equips participants with the tools and techniques to make informed decisions in both personal and professional contexts.
Module Six: Cross-cutting Life Skills – It covers digital literacy, building a strong work ethic and developing a growth mindset.
